Box #124, Willington, CT 06279Emily Lyon’s teeny-tiny pressworks, Bruce and Sasha Press, operates with two small relief presses, piles of vintage lead and wooden type, and screenprinting equipment. Emily’s written and printed works, in the form of zines and small artists’ books, are held in the collections at Bard College, Barnard College, Denver Zine Library, Duke University, UC Santa Barbara, and various other libraries and archives. Emily’s books and zines have been shown across America and in the UK. Bruce and Sasha Press mainly prints stationery and small broadsides, and a series of handbound editions of flash fiction is in the (very slooooow) works. Bruce and Sasha Press was named for two rescue house rabbits, but for now, Emily works more on the turtle speed of things.
